Bittern Acrylic Painting
£28.00
"Olive Bittern"
Hand painted by me using acrylic paint with coloured pencil detail. It has a bright pink underpainting with an olive green background on top.
Mini painting on thick mixed media paper and framed in a fabric printed frame (the frame size is 20.6x15.4cm)
This painting is an original not a print.
Bitterns are secretive birds, very difficult to see as they move silently through reeds at water's edge, looking for fish. The males make a remarkable far-carrying, booming sound in spring.
Part of my mini birds collection.
